PRONOUNS: HE/HIM

Dr Claude Cicchini

Claude graduated from UWA in 1983. He holds a fellowship with The Royal Australian College of General Practice, and diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Musculoskeletal Medicine. Claude is fluent in Italian and has a black labrador named Moss. He enjoys taking Moss on daily walks and playing guitar in his band.

Dr Hilary Dickson

Hilary grew up in Victoria and graduated from Monash University. She has worked in General Practice for 30+ years and enjoys the problem-solving aspect of making a diagnosis. She is honoured and privileged to share in so many aspects of her patients’ lives. Outside of work, she stays active by gardening, hiking, camping and attending weekly BootCamp fitness. She loves having friends over for dinner because it’s fun and cooking is creative and satisfying.

Dr Ludmila Polczynski

Ludmila graduated from the Academy of Medicine in Gdansk, Poland 1984, and in 1989 passed specialist exams in the field of Paediatrics. With her family, she migrated to Australia and settled in Perth where she passed the Australian Medical Council Exams, worked as a hospital doctor in various specialties and later commenced specialist training in General Practice. Ludmila is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice and is a UWA Clinical Lecturer. She speaks both English and Polish.

Dr Alistair Vickery

Alistair graduated from UWA as a Fellow of The College of General Practice and Health Service Management. The part of the medical field he enjoys most is chronic disease management. His favourite hobby is playing music, so much so he has been in more bands than Crosley, Stills, Nash and Young. His biggest passion is Quiz Nights and on the weekend you’ll find him spending time with his grandkids.

Dr Deanne Sceales

Deanne graduated from the Australian National University in 2007 and rotated through various hospital-based specialties before undertaking GP training in 2012. She has been involved with teaching and mentoring medical students at both UWA and Notre Dame University, and now feels honoured to be a part of the Gwelup Medical Centre team. Her clinical style is to work in partnership with her patients, striving to achieve their optimal physical and mental health outcomes. Outside of medicine she enjoys trying to keep fit, cooking and travelling.

Dr Suwen Tan

Suwen was born and grew up in Perth, WA. She completed her bachelor of medicine/bachelor of surgery at UWA and went on to finish her internship at Royal Perth Hospital. She spent several years in the hospital system including experience in obstetrics/gynaecology, mental health and paediatrics before making it out to general practice. When not at work, she enjoys baking bread, running half marathons and reading.

Dr Chandra Thammineni

Dr Chandra Thammineni, who prefers to be called Shilpa, graduated in Medicine from India in 2009 and since has worked in various hospitals and practices both in India and Australia. Along with the vast 9 years of Australian hospital and general practice experience, Shilpa has also accomplished an array of academic medical degrees in Australia, including a Diploma in Child Health (University of Sydney), a Diploma in Sexual Health and pursuing a Certificate in Women’s Health. She is happily married and blessed with two young kids. In her downtime, she enjoys painting and baking.

Shilpa is fluent in English, Telugu and Hindi languages.

Dr Joemol Cheeruvelil

Joemol Graduated MBBS in India in 2010 and started her Australian medical career at Geraldton Regional Hospital. Later she moved to Joondalup Health Campus, working in a vast array of medical departments, after which she moved to Moora (Central Wheat Belt) for GP training, where she gained valuable rural GP experience. In 2021 she gained fellowship with RACGP and, as a Gwleup local and multilingual speaker (English, Hindi and Malayalam), Joemol is an asset to the team. Her passion is to live a healthy and positive life with her husband and daughter, and her biggest support is her family.
Dr Shweta Reddy
PRONOUNS: SHE/HER

Dr Shweta Reddy

Dr Shweta Reddy had completed MBBS in India and moved to UK in 2010. She has done basic training in Pediatrics (MRCPCH) from the UK. After working in the UK for 8 years she moved to Australia. She has completed her GP training in Perth and has been working in Perth since. She is a mum of two boys and in her free time enjoys playing cricket, badminton and travelling. 
 

Shweta is fluent in English, Telugu and Hindi languages.

Dr Peter Dyson

Dr Peter Dyson is currently consulting at Okely and Gwelup Medical Centres. He is a graduate of the University of Western Australia and has a long experience of general practice in Perth. He has general interests and has had extended periods of time in Aged and Palliative Care. He has interests in preventive medicine and skin cancer surveillance and is involved in on site skin cancer screening throughout Australia.
